These are 0.195" dia. sand cast flat top Alnico 3 magnets similar to the ones found in vintage pickups from the '50s. (Non-Magnetized)
Characteristics:
Similar to Alnico 2 but a bit brighter with clear mids and warm bass. Alnico 3 has the least magnetic pull as compared to Alnico 2 or Alnico 5 because it contains no cobalt, impeding string vibration the least. Alnico3 rod magnets were used in the early '50s Stratocaster guitars.
